Winning the Auction
Time to Close the Deal

You Won the Auction - Now What?

If you placed the winning bid you'll receive an email with a congratulation message and instructions on how to proceed almost immediately following the close of the auction.  Contained in the email will be links for completing the transaction including; a link to the item description, the sellers email address, and help screen links.

The Basic Steps

• Review the sellers payment instructions

• Send Payment to Seller

• Wait to Receive Item

• Leave Feedback about Transaction

Review the sellers payment instructions

The sellers payment instructions will be included in the post auction email you receive from the auction site.  They can also be found on the item description page.

Some sellers will take advantage of auction site "check out" services that make it easier for the buyer to complete the transaction. In using the service, the seller has pre-entered the item total making it possible for the buyer to simply click the check-out button and begin the payment process immediately rather than contacting the seller for final details.

Send Payment to Seller

Choose which payment you would like to use and make payment.  If you use Checkout and pay electronically (credit card, debit card, electronic check), payment will be automatically sent to the seller when you complete Checkout.

Wait for the Item

Sometimes the hardest part!

Leave Feedback

Leave your comments about the transaction on the auction site feedback form.  The feedback will become a part of the seller's 'record'.
